The note
A plan made without looking back is a wish. Before you decide what next week holds, spend ten minutes on what moved and what stalled this one. You will plan less, and what you plan will be true.
A review does not need to be clever. Four questions are enough:
- What moved?
- What stalled?
- What can I drop on purpose?
- What is the first thing on Monday?
Three things worth your time
- The weekly review template.
- A lecture on systems thinking that is slow at the start and worth the hour.
- A post on reviewing before you plan.
A question to take with you
What did you do this week that you would not do again?
That is all for this sample.
