Three questions before you automate anything
Automation makes a process faster. It also makes a bad process faster.

Before you automate something, ask:
- Have I done this by hand enough times to know what good looks like?
- What happens when it fails, and who will notice?
- Can I switch it off in one step?
If any answer is no, do it by hand a little longer.
